Fun Fact

That's a 78% increase in the number of heads of state and national governments on Twitter from 2011. Which means Twitter is taking over the world. And we're ok with that.

I re-post my how-to-read-history infographic at the beginning of every semester for anyone who wants to use it with their students. (Please do!) It does get tweaked from time to time, so here's the latest greatest version. I can sent you higher-res versions if you need them! https://t.co/H1lWqJYHnj

#Twitterstorians, I need your help. I'm finding conflicting information about it on a Google search; what a shocker. Has a #book been written about #HighTea vs #AfternoonTea and the #history and origins of?

#twitterstorians, #arthistory What are your thoughts? Restoration or Interpretation? Can we trust AI to do this kind of work? How does it change our understanding of the past and these works? Are they good developments? https://t.co/jDiYOdVXt2

Random, perhaps unpopular thought, #Twitterstorians and #MedievalTwitter. An awful lot of people seem to like to repeat "objectivity is not neutrality" without ever having understood, or even read, the late Tom Haskell's eponymous 1990 essay.

@ChadLeahy1 @DrSThroop @prof_gabriele @JCRHistorian @cobbpasha @tlecaque There was a wonderful historian reviewing historical video games on his YouTube channel, interviewing an expert in the historical subject of the game & discussing historical accuracies. Would be great to include this or something like it - #twitterstorians might jog my memory?

One interesting area of research on our blog involves #ChineseMigration and #ChineseAmericanHistory. So far we have three contributions, one of them involving Cuba. https://t.co/4N9vkOU7C7 #migration #twitterstorians #migknow ^ms

When I am researching and come across an interesting source that sparks an idea, I just go ahead and open a chapter draft and write a paragraph (or as much as I can) about it. It makes for a messy first draft, but it gets the writing flowing! #twitterstorians

S/O to @Adam_Thomas_PhD for letting me tag along to his visit to Southampton County to explore the area of the Turner Rebellion. Our trip really made @drvholden’s #SurvivingSouthampton story come to life even more. #Blktwitterstorians #twitterstorians
