The Netherlands, inter alia, is doing more to stop travellers from the UK bringing in the Indian variant than our government did to stop travellers from India doing the same. We are being red listed by less vaccinated countries because our Prime Minister is a ridiculous balloon.

Hopefully, the cricketers are using up all the England bad luck today just in time for the football tomorrow...

I'll never get how the UK is being led by a guy who looks like the car dealership couldn't afford the Trump impersonator who owns his own suit. https://t.co/Pk7bC5Sixb

Brilliant festival. Proud to be a part of it. @raziaiqbal is a fantastic interviewer & I also got to meet @RevRichardColes & @brianmoore666 in the flesh as an added bonus. https://t.co/s8AvLP5ial

I reckon you could watch the entire #EURO2020 coverage and not realise that Azerbaijan is an authoritarian regime run by a strongman and his extended family. All this 'Baku is so nice' and 'petrol is so cheap' commentary is incredibly cheap regime washing.

After obvious health impacts, the main benefit of our early vaccine success was going to be our early relaxation of rules & restrictions. That has been completely squandered because Johnson prioritised a face-saving trade deal with India over the welfare of the people he governs.

Exactly right. We followed the rules. Our children suffered. And Johnson and his government have now wasted it all. In a vain grab for some political lipstick. https://t.co/Y8OYXNasQJ

The people who want everyone to stop talking about Brexit are the people who made it happen. It’s very selfless of them to eschew all these opportunities to gloat, celebrate & crow ‘I told you so’.

Even those of us who thought it was probably inevitable struggle with the scale & the speed of this ‘oven-ready’ reverse ferret. These ghouls pay no heed to *their own words* so it’s unsurprising that they scoff at the idea of being scrutinised by anyone else. Grimly fascinating. https://t.co/R0MumWhA8q

In Opinion "Story by story, scandal by scandal, Boris Johnson has been exposed as a slapdash, venal, incompetent leader. But it doesn’t seem to matter," Samuel Earle, a journalist who writes about British politics and culture, writes in this guest essay. https://t.co/hWzloaBbJj

This, in FDA's letter to Innova (from whom we bought £3bn of tests for reasons no one can explain) is extraordinary stuff.

If they had their own data, why were they apparently copying other peoples'? If they didn't have their own data, how (and why!) did we spend £3bn with them? https://t.co/FH5EBXzGaY
