America the Beautiful is a call to action for all of us to conserve and protect the lands and waters that bind us together. It is inclusive, collaborative and locally-led. And in this effort, Colorado, you are leading by example. https://t.co/olv7CTlHNj

Persistent drought conditions in the West have strained water supplies and impacted communities, fish, and wildlife. @Interior, state, Tribal, and local governments are steadfast in our commitment to wildland fire preparedness, mitigation, and resilience. (1/2)

@BLMNational This conversation will help @Interior identify what benefits BLM’s national representation in Colorado provides and how we can best take advantage of what Grand Junction and this region have to offer. (2/2)

Today, I spoke with @BLMNational headquarters employees, those in Grand Junction and throughout the West, as well as community leaders. They shared with me their thoughts about the BLM move, the structure of the bureau, and how it has impacted them and the agency. (1/2) https://t.co/S36tmvScAm

I am glad to see that the Cleveland baseball team is finally changing its name. The long practice of using Native American mascots and imagery in sports team has been harmful to Indigenous communities. This is a welcome and necessary change.

NEW: Today in Denver, Colorado, @SecDebHaaland discussed worsening drought conditions in the West and highlighted @Interior's efforts to support farmers, Tribes, and communities impacted by ongoing water shortages. https://t.co/zVsvz3112C

Again, addressing climate change requires a whole-of-government approach across all communities. @POTUS’ Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework includes much-needed investments to develop long-term solutions to address the climate crisis and protect our natural resources. https://t.co/PaBqzMdR89

From farmers and ranchers to city dwellers and Tribes, worsening drought conditions impact us all.

Today I'm in Denver to meet with @RepDianaDeGette, @GovofCO and local conservation leaders to discuss the administration's efforts to address climate change. https://t.co/pfnGfjN8Sy

Today I had the pleasure of meeting with the next generation of Native American and Alaskan Native leaders here in DC with the @UdallFoundation internship program. They are their ancestors’ dreams as they work to build a better future. I could not be prouder. https://t.co/HYLKOMFKPy

We @Interior look forward to implementing this initiative and putting environmental justice first. I’m excited that @OSMRE’s Abandoned Mine Land program will be a #Justice40 pilot program. (2/2) https://t.co/tr709HGsX0

Addressing longstanding environmental injustice requires a whole-of-government approach. The #Justice40 initiative aims to ensure that 40% of overall benefits from federal investments in climate and clean energy will go toward historically underrepresented communities. (1/2)

Last week @Interior, I had the honor of participating in a ceremony to return Native children to their home. The Washington Monument reopens to visitors, @BOEM will work to rebuild some Florida beaches, and @BLMNational turned 75 years old. https://t.co/zxQEpZsPTK

The beauty of nature should be accessible to all—the Sabinoso Wilderness Area in my home state of New Mexico is no exception.

Thanks to the largest wilderness land donation in history, these public lands will be conserved and enjoyed by current and future generations. https://t.co/Fusfjs9Zag

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework takes critical first steps to address economic inequities and decades of infrastructure neglect that have disproportionately impacted communities of color. Here's how the plan will advance racial equity — #WhiteHouseDeepDive THREAD🧵:

From Tribal lands to the hearts of our cities, Americans continue to face the effects of decades-long under-investment and environmental injustice. Not only will @POTUS’ infrastructure plan right these past wrongs, but it will put us on a path to a sustainable future. https://t.co/2vfJSL1ki0
