@dcdeejay @mattzap Good point. Matt Whitaker was acting AG in late 2018 to early 2019. As long as the gag orders remained in place, he should have been briefed about it, too. No leader wants to learn about sensitive matters occurring under his watch by hearing about it from a reporter.
