Fun Fact

There were 13.7 million football-related tweets during the 2012 Super Bowl, 1 million of which appeared in the game's final 5 minutes.

@DoctorHenryCT International company, employ around 1000 at the facility I'm at. Half the workforce is gone right now, Covid, laid off, etc. Been getting job offers. Told the company double my pay or I retire at the end of the year. Since then I've been given bonuses left and right. Go figure.

@pseudosudio @DoctorHenryCT @AlwaysYvonneMac Cuz that $300 (or $600 when it was) in uec is "gonna keep people from going back to work since they're lazy and want money for not working". From people that have never actually worked a day in their life and $600 is a purse or 1/2 the price of a dinner. They disgust me

@pseudosudio @DoctorHenryCT @AlwaysYvonneMac Minimum wage where I'm at is $7.25. Waitress wages are $2.85 still, iirc. If $300 more in uec checks is more than people can make working, then wages are the problem, not "lazy people". People are working 2-3 f*****g jobs. 1 just to pay for daycare and transport to & from work.

Democrats: "I ran for office so I cd help our country progress to a 21st century economy & to make life a little easier for the working class. Republicans: "I ran for office so I could get rich & make sure the rich suck the lifeblood out of the country. Makes the choice easier.

@DoctorHenryCT I walked away from my miserable job in April 2020 because there was no child care & schools were closed. 7 weeks later, I landed a dream job.

Quoted @DoctorHenryCT

Last year, when the pandemic took hold, companies laid off workers without a thought as to how they would survive. Now that things are improving and people have options, they are not rushing back and employers are whining that they have no workers. Payback is a bitch.

Typical entitled A-Holes." I have the money so I can dump you at the 1st sign of trouble, but you must run when I blow my whistle". Let them do the work themselves. Better yet let them bring in their families and pay them starving wages.😫 https://t.co/lLFSKkUvYk

@DoctorHenryCT This is imperative or the next tyrannical president that makes his way in will follow this ignored but set precedent and be even worse. You fix the JUSTICE DEPARTMENT BY ACTUALLY DOLING OUT JUSTICE TO THE WRONGDOERS. @TheJusticeDept @FBI @SenSchumer @RepAdamSchiff

Gonna be honest, I'm really uninterested in politicians who boast about *fighting* for an issue. Making speeches and performing conflict doesn't accomplish anything. I want the leader who's going to *work* for a cause -- craft legislation, whip votes, actually get things done.

Random Father's Day thought: I am often surprised at the number of young, progressive (hetero) couples where the wife and/or kids take only the husband's last name. I'm sure more thought went into it than earlier generations, but it looks more like the "default" than I expect.

I don't think the push for voting rights should be presented as "they're denying people their constitutional right to vote". It sounds exaggerated and histrionic. Republicans can say "come on, no individual is being targeted". 1/2

@DoctorHenryCT If you’re dumb enough to give me free money, you’re also dumb enough not to notice when it doesn’t flow back to you.

If Joe Biden has a problem with the Catholic Church he is welcome to come to synagogue. We wouldn't deny him anything. There's too much guilt in that.

The Framers themselves acknowledged the need for our laws and Constitution to evolve. Those who promote so called originalalist interpretations are using text as an excuse to oppress the will of the people. #GunReform

Let me explain trickle down more simply. If you gave me 3 houses, hoping I would give two of them away and I don't, it's my choice and your tough luck.
