Fun Fact

There are more devices connected to the internet than there are people on the entire planet.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom - Viktor E. Frankl

5. Ask yourself what are you going to achieve & is it worth it? 6. Empower yourself to step away from that place to get a more appropriate outcome for everyone involved

Here are a few tips to help you respond instead of react; 1. Take some time & space when you’re triggered 2. Stop & take a breath 3. Ask yourself how you’re feeling 4. Ask yourself why you’re feeling that way This is the hardest bit…

Quoted @Oloni

What’s it called when you look at photos of yourself & get turned on?

Autosexual, it’s actually a real term. Being demisexual, I’m definitely auto sexual 😂 https://t.co/luIy3F0Jhg

As adults, I would advise that we stop using age as an indicator for how knowledgeable someone can be. That way there’s more space for us to learn from each other.

Overwork is glorified in academia. People brag about getting barely any sleep and eating almost nothing and wear it as a badge of honor. That outlook is so toxic. We should be proud of ourselves for getting 8 hrs of sleep, eating 3 meals, and exercising, not overworking ourselves.

Learning to see the beauty & lessons in adversity requires so much courage. Some of my most hardest experiences have led to my growth. Courage, persistence & learning to surrender helped me through my toughest times.

Remember your past doesn’t define your present or future. It tells the story of your strength. There is so much beautiful things ahead of you to experience.

Accepting my body changes through motherhood was tough at first but what helped me was seeing my body as more than just looks. Acknowledge all the ways your body serves you. If writing it down is your thing acknowledge it all the way.
