Fun Fact

Only 26% are due to the inclusion of "please RT!" in the tweet.

The capital of the United States of America has been turned into a military zone and there’s a massive fascist movement threatening shared society because the wealthy and powerful created an alternate reality where they could maintain power and direct anger away from themselves.

No one who objected to certification of the election can call for “unity” until they publicly acknowledge that Biden lawfully won the election and is the legitimate President. That is the necessary first step towards unity. It has not happened yet.

The most effective act of unity would be for Trump, Hawley, Cruz, Trump Jr., McCarthy, etc to tell the truth and state bluntly and unequivocally that Biden won in a landslide in a free and fair election. No more ambiguity about these facts. That would be a real act of unity.

Hey, I know it's late, but Democrats had an extremely concerning briefing tonight where Capitol Police detailed three different potentially gruesome plots. One involves encircling the Capitol and assassinating Democrats on their way into the building. https://t.co/LN5grOeUIM

Dear @GOPLeader: So you want to lower the temperature? How about you go on TV and say: -there was no mass voter fraud -thousands of dead people didn’t vote -voting machines didn’t switch votes That’s how you stop the violent part of your base from acting on the big lie. https://t.co/Ev3wgPl5bE

If impeaching Trump would "further divide the country," as Republicans claim, then what did the GOP think challenging Biden's election win would do?

Congrats to Trump on his first ever consequence

A speech he was desperately forced to give, yet still filled with lies, has zero relevance on the clear and present danger he represents. He must be removed. And Josh Hawley can pick fights with publishers and Ted Cruz with @AOC, but we will never move on from what you did.

Impeachment or 25th amendment. Either is fine. Must happen now. Trump shouldn't be in office another day.

A note to Republicans with presidential ambitions, if you vote to impeach and remove Trump, he is barred from ever holding office again. Just a thought!

Get what you wanted today, @HawleyMO? https://t.co/KQjEwzm7w8

Trump is directly responsible for this insurrection and violence. He needs to be removed from office immediately. It is the Constitutional responsibility of Vice President Pence and the cabinet to exercise the power granted them by the 25th amendment.

Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley will never lead the country but they will go down in infamy for leading, instigating and enabling domestic terrorists.

We are now witnessing a primal threat to our democracy. Constitutional remedies may include 25th Amendment and impeachment and removal of the President.

Whatever story you’re telling yourself to absolve yourself, @HawleyMO, is bullshit and you know it, Senator.

Instead of challenging election results Congress should vote to immediately remove Donald Trump from office

When it came time to choose between democracy in America and authoritarianism under Donald Trump, they chose Trump. Remember. Cruz Braun Lankford Blackburn Johnson Kennedy Daines Lummis Marshall Hagerty Tuberville Hawley Over 100 House members 18 Republican attorneys general

Am I wrong, or when this happens in other countries, is it people protesting for democracy, not against it?
